The all-new Aiways AION V is now on the market. Compared to its predecessor, this new model has seen a price reduction, with prices adjusted from the previous range of 149,900 to 229,600 yuan to 129,800 to 189,800 yuan. The entry-level version now boasts a range increase from 400 km to 520 km, while the longest-range model has been extended from 600 km to 750 km. In response to this price adjustment, Xiao Yong, Vice General Manager of GAC Aiways, stated, "The new AION V is priced lower to capture a larger market share. We aim to become one of the top players in the 130,000 to 190,000 yuan pure electric A-class SUV market, or even the leader.

Enhanced Range and Performance

Not only has the price been reduced, but the AION V also boasts impressive improvements in its range. The entry-level version now offers an increased range from 400 km to 520 km, while the longest-range model has been extended from 600 km to an outstanding 750 km. These enhancements position the AION V as a strong contender in the electric SUV market.

Strategic Market Positioning

In response to this aggressive pricing strategy, Xiao Yong, Vice General Manager of GAC Aiways, stated, "The new AION V is priced lower to capture a larger market share. We aim to become one of the top players in the 130,000 to 190,000 yuan pure electric A-class SUV market, or even the leader." This bold statement underscores the company's ambition to not only compete but to lead the market segment.

Future Prospects

With the AION V's competitive pricing and improved features, GAC Aiways is poised to make significant inroads in the electric vehicle market. This move is expected to set a new standard and challenge competitors, ultimately benefiting consumers with more affordable and advanced electric vehicle options.

The launch of the new Aiways AION V marks the beginning of an exciting chapter in the electric vehicle industry, promising innovation, affordability, and enhanced performance for a sustainable future.
